Steve Brykman
For the last five years, Steve has been Managing Editor for National
Lampoon
, during which he edited their Big Book of Love (RuggedLand, 2004) and produced and wrote Rules of the Road (Uproar, 2003), their latest comedy album. His work has appeared in Nerve and The New Yorker where he was featured in Talk of the Town.

He has written for Comedy Central, the Food Network, and Prairie Home Companion and taught classes in both creative and technical writing at the University of Massachusetts and the Brandeis-Bardin Institute. As a writing fellow at the University of Massachusetts, his fiction was twice awarded the Harvey Swados prize.


 
 

Steven Beeber
A freelance writer of both fiction and nonfiction, Steve is currently working on two book projects: the first, a nonfiction study of NY immigrant culture and the birth of punk rock (A Capella Press, 2006); the second, an anthology of poems and stories about insomnia (Soft Skull Press, 2006).

Steve writes about music and popular culture for The New York Times, MOJO, Spin, and Details. His work has appeared in Fiction, The Paris Review, The Habersham Review, Bridge, Weber Studies, and The North Atlantic Review. He has taught creative writing and as a freelance editor has written speeches, mission statements, and reports for businesspeople, academics, and artists.
